About Chart.biz
Our Mission
Chart.biz helps people understand and create charts. That covers two things: free chart-making tools that turn your own data into a pie, bar, or line chart you can export, and plain-English guides that explain what each chart type shows and when to use it. Alongside these, we publish live market charts and a set of everyday reference calculators.
We believe good information should be fast, clean, and free from clutter. Our tools run entirely in your browser — your data never leaves your device — and there are no paywalls, no signups, and no watermarks on anything you export.

- Educational Content: NIST, scientific databases, educational institutions
- Astrology/Lifestyle: Traditional interpretations and established reference sources
How We Work
Our educational guides and glossary explain established, widely-accepted principles of data visualization — the same conventions used across statistics, journalism, and design. They are written to be practical and example-led rather than academic, and we revise them when we can make an explanation clearer or more complete.
For reference data and calculators, we base ranges and formulas on recognised public standards (for example, WHO and CDC guidance for health references, and standard mathematical and scientific definitions for education tools) and label the source on the page. Health and finance pages are general information, not professional advice — we say so where it matters, and recommend consulting a qualified professional for personal decisions.
Live market charts are provided by third-party market-data widgets and reflect their data and timing, not ours. Found something wrong or out of date? Tell us and we will fix it.
